For years Abu Dhabi has been laying silent in the shadow of the bigger and brighter Emirate that is Dubai. Today however, the recent market recession has lead to several major role reversals. Currently while Dubai’s growth curve gravitates to a snail’s pace, Abu Dhabi is rapidly expanding and ever-evolving. Everywhere you turn, construction crews are hard at work creating new luxury hotels and mile-high skyscrapers. And as a result Abu Dhabi is quickly transforming itself into an international cultural and business hub. More and more companies are setting up businesses here and the city has also morphed into a preferred location for conferences in the Middle East.
