...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST SATURDAY...

NORTHWEST SWELL BETWEEN 15 TO 18 FEET EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE
CENTRAL CALIFORNIA COAST BEGINNING LATER THIS MORNING AND
SPREADING SOUTHEAST DURING THE DAY. THESE LARGE SWELLS WILL THEN
CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY SATURDAY POSING SOME THREAT FOR
HOLIDAY VISITORS AND RESIDENTS VISITING AREA BEACHES. IN
ADDITION...LOCAL GALE FORCE WINDS WILL MAKE THE SEAS CHOPPY.

SWELL SIZE IS EXPECTED TO DROP BELOW WARNING LEVELS BY SATURDAY
EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT AREA
BEACHES AND BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED
BEACH EROSION. BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF NEAR THE COAST. REMAIN AWARE
OF LOCAL OCEAN CONDITIONS AND DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON THE SURF.
