Weather Underground Forecast for Thursday, March 15, 2012. Warm weather conditions will continue throughout the East and Thursday as high pressure lingers in the western Atlantic Ocean. Many location should anticipate another day of above normal temperatures through the afternoon. This warmth over the region will help trigger areas thunderstorms from parts of the Southern Plains through the Eastern Valleys and into the Great Lakes. Some of these thunderstorms may become strong during the afternoon as daytime heating picks up. This activity is expected to reach into the Eastern Seaboard Thursday into Friday.

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell Plc said it was sued for causing climate change but that, like some other global warming cases taken against energy companies by environmentalists, the cases were dismissed. The Anglo-Dutch group said in its annual report, published on Thursday, that, "together with other energy companies" it was subject to climate change litigation taken by parties it did not name. "We believe these lawsuits are without merit and are not material to Shell," the world's second-largest non-government controlled oil company by market value added. ...
