The word is out- Jaguar is officially building an SUV (or at least a concept). Previewed here by a vague outline shot- it’s plain to see that the concept received both its name and looks from the C-X16 we saw back in 2011.
Set for premier at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month, the C-X17 concept shows off a vague set of lines reminiscent of a low-slung SUV. Jaguar promises that the mysterious concept “illustrates the diversity of vehicles that could be produced using this architecture.”
As we found out earlier today, Jaguar is indeed planning to “make some waves” at this year’s Frankfurt gathering; along with the C-X17, the F-Type, XFR-S and XJR will be on display.
