India's IT capital, Bengaluru, plans to become country's first Wi-Fi-enabled city. As a part of the plan, the city, a few months ago had announced free wireless internet services at its popular public spots - MG road and Brigade road - to enable many internet users with mobile phones, laptops ad tablets to use web services. There are many international cities that have used smart technology to improve the lifestyle of its citizens, and make those cities - 'smart cities'. A BBC report lists ten such cities around the world which have already leaped into the future by the use of innovative technologies to solve their daily problems.
